Trying my hand at making earrings :)

Sorry for the long silence, been busy with life! 

I'm hoping to start updating again and do a blog make over, but for the time being here are some earrings I made as Christmas gifts this year:

All were hand made out of silver wire (except a few in the last picture) and precious stones (and a few were done in fabric). I learned a lot in making these and hope to make more soon!  Working with silver was a little intimidating at first but I'm feeling braver now so I'm excited to experiment a bit for the next round!

Finally posting my stop motion film

So here's my little stop motion film. Took about 8 mouths out of my life and seems like it was all completed a million years ago. I hope to have a chance to make another sometime, it was tons of fun :)

Well now this is exciting!

My film is going to be showing at TIFF in the Future Frames festival!

Take a look!

It's kind of refreshing to take a look at the film again months after it was finished. I still cringe at all the mistakes I made, but I can also sit back and feel a small level of accomplishment knowing that all the hard work was worth it :]
